The Firefly ran overnight between St. Louis, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. This "livery" with its beautiful Art Deco interior was called "The Meteor". The Metior, in 1948, still in its Art Deco livery, carried President, Harry S. Truman on his famous "Whistle Stop Tour" through his home state of Missouri.
